If the fuse is still good, does youre airbag light stay on, and the crusie control is out too? I would believe it is the "Clocking spring" that needs to be replaced! I know,... you're saying what is a clocking spring? All I know is it located in your steering wheel just under your deployable airbag. We had ours replaced by a factory recall. Look it up, it's still at NO COST to you. It's a Chrysler recall.
(its a clock spring, and it is a air bag safety feature, that will prevent the airbag from going off. If your airbag light is on, take to certified repair facility asap. it may mean it wont fire in crash, but it could be a lot worse, if it is covered by recall, take advantage of it)
