You probably have one of two problems: leak comes from heater core, or evaporator drain hose is clogged.
If plain water, good news, the drain hose can be reached from under the car, passenger side, small black hose. Stick a short stiff wire and see if it unclogs, worse case scenario you'll have to take it to A/C repair shop and have the evaporator washed and the drain unclogged, maybe $30 - 60.
If leak smells like coolant, you'll have to replace the heater core and probably the dash must be removed to reach it. When heater goes, evaporator follows shotly after so be prepared to pay anywhere from $300 to $600.
Thanks, great reply, fixed my leak in 1 minute but spent 1 hour trying to find the drain hose under the passenger side. On my 98 sportage "mighty mouse" (because I found a dead mouse under the drivers seat) this hose is halfway down the firewall on the passengers side and is black, 12mm in diameter, about 20cm long (half inch dia and 8 inches long for those still in the dark ages) it sticks straight out from the firewall and the end is near the suspension knukle. It has a rubber non return valve on the end so it looks like a non circumcised penis and it has the same problem in that the flap gets dirty and the sides stick together. Just rub a screwdriver around the inside of the flap and VIOLA it works like a charm.
Then you can spend the rest of the day pulling out your passengers side carpet and the gooey mess that used to be under-felt.
