You will need to first check the fuse panel and wiring harness all the way back to the top of the fuel tank, if that is not the problem, then you will need to drop the fuel tank and remove and replace the fuel sending unit. On the top of the tank you will need to find the circular area with lines and wires coming out, disconnect those. then remove the lock ring by tapping the tabs in a circular direction until the ring pops off. nstall new unit the reverse way and reconnect the wiring and fuel lines
