first you jam a screwdriver as hard as you can into the area where the window goes into the car. then you must perform the ancient fixing worship dance. you need to please the car and automotive gods. you shall make a sacrafice. it does not have to be big, a toaster will do. first stab it then burry it in you backyard, toast side down. but there MUST be toast inside it or the Mercedes gods will smite you! after that wait exactly 619 hours before giving up hope and going to an actual mechanic.
On a ( 2000 ) Lincoln Navigator the rear window defroster switch is located in the dash below the headlight switch
There is a switch that allows you to open and close the Lincoln Navigator rear side windows. The switch is located on the overhead console.
First thing I would check is the fuse panel. Usually located under the dash.
It's pretty easy to remove the window switch on that year Lincoln. Take a small screw driver and pry up on the window switch carefully and it will pop out of the door panel. Here's also a link to a video that will show you how to do this.
Press the left side of the rear window switch that is located in the upper console on your interior roof
From my 07 manual:Start the engine. Push down and hold the driver's window switch until the window is fully open.Pull and hold the driver's window switch to close the window completely, then hold the switch for about 2 seconds.
Under the window washer tank
Maybe its your driver-side window regulator that stopped working.
Both window switch on the front door will lower the window, the problem is that both switch will not raise the window back up to its close position and also the master window switch on the Driver's side will not operate all the time nor will the master door lock on the driver's side lock the passenger side door. On several ocasion the driver's side window switch lowered it's window and it would'nt raise the window back up unless after quite a few minutes playing with the window switch, opening the door, etc.
the switch is on the door panel approx four inches from the window, this is the only switch that sends power to the window regulator motor (window motor).
You installed the switch wrong.
Try swapping it with the driver's side switch
