That threaded nipple is removable, replace it.
Assuming you mean the pressure sender it is a pipe thread into the block, some teflon tape will help it seal. There is no gasket. The oil filter has an "O" ring on it that seals it to the block.
the oil pressure switch is on the block right above the oil filter and also where the oil dipstick goes into the block
Look by the oil filter if you have one it should be located there and then try to follow where it goes. mike
6qts. with filter
There is a thin round hard plastic SEAL that goes on the 1 inch fitting that screws into the carburetor. That fitting is were the fuel filter goes. Also make sure you did not cross thread the fitting.
The most common cause of that is that there is an old O-RING stuck to the engine block where the oil filter goes. Take the filter off and make sure there is no gasket / O-ring stuck to the block. If you don't find your problem there, Then let us know and we'll try to help you.
A hole in the engine block is God's way of telling you to get a different car. You get a hole in the engine block when a piece of your engine--normally a rod cap--comes off at full speed and goes through the side of the block. And there's no way to fix it.
The spring goes towards the engine block.
The spring goes into the engine block.
The fuel filter is in an incredibly inconvenient location just above a motor mount on the drivers' side of the engine. It's behind the stabilizer bar that goes from the engine block to the throttle body. If you're going to remove it, I'd recommend first removing the 17mm bolt on the top that attaches it to the hard line which goes to the fuel rail. Then remove the 14mm bolts which attach the filter bracket to the engine block. Then brace the now loose filter against a flat surface in the engine bay so you can remove the bottom 17mm bolt. Now you can remove the old filter from the bracket. Follow the above instructions in reverse to install. Be careful when installing not to bend the hard lines (I've made that mistake before, and it's not fun to fix), ie. Use a wrench on both sides and an assistant, if necessary.
The spring faces the engine block ( and the vent hole goes to the top )
they make a kit that goes were ur oil filter is located goes between block and filter. has High pressure hoses that connect 2 an adapter. hoses go 2 the front were the cooler will b located . its woth the costs lower oil temp longer engine life>
