Remove both heater hoses from the engine, then fabricate a fitting to attach a garden hose to one of the heater hoses. Direct the remaining hose into a bucket then slowly turn on the water until the water runs clean. Then reverse the flow by switching the garden hose over to the other heater hose and repeat until the water runs clean. Then replace the hoses to the engine and refill the coolant reservoir.

heater core???
block and heads are the same but not the computers
What causes heat to only come out of the defrost and vent but not the floor of a 1995 S10 Blazer?
The only access to the heater core on a 96 S10 blazer is by removing the entire dash asm. It is not accessible from the engine compartment. If you are not familiar with disabling the the air bag system, do not attempt this repair.
There is no "kill switch" on that Chevy Blazer.
In our 96 Blazer S10, it was behind the radio. We had to remove the radio to get to it.
the 1996 and 1997 are the same and would not work in your 2000 straight from GM
