don't know when you posted this question , but if it was during hot weather , and it would crank but just not start , It might very well have been vapor locking. If so , simply opening the gas cap slowly you will hear a hissing sound as air enters the tank. After that it will run just fine. Remember the fuller the tank , the less likely to suffer vapor lock.

It is impossible for a fuel injected car to vapor lock. If you have a check engine light on then you need to address that problem first.
To fix vapor lock on a 2003 Dodge Stratus, locate the fuel pressure sensor near the fuel pump. There is a button on the side to release pressure. Push on the button, then try to start the vehicle.
