or, seeing as how it TRIES to crank with the gas all the way down, could be clogged fuel injectors. Mine wouldn't start once, same year and make and everything, and a mechanic buddy of mine held the gas all the way down and started it. It only started because the clog was broken up a bit from the new, more powerful element of pressure. sounds like yours are clogged more than mine were tho, just get a new fuel rail, it'll be easier than just the injectors
if the car runs normally except at idle the idle air control is the likely problem,this is fairly inexpensive and easy to install.
If you mean it won't crank then the starter is defective. If you mean it will crank but not start it isn't getting fuel, spark or compression.
