I have a 96 Saturn SC2, and the seals have gone out, I use a floor mat to cover mine. But.. when you get the chance, try to take the headliner out and check the hoses. There should be drain lines. Make sure they aren't clogged. Oh, also.. check the fuses and what not to see if that is why it isn't working.
I you happen to have a sunroof--check the two drain plugs which you can access when the sunroof is open. thry may be clogged. there are plastic tubes that run downward, which a wire can be inserted into to clean them out. hope this helps out.

TAke it to an auto trim shop. To work on a sun roof and keep it from leaking is very hard.
Yes,there are a few ways to close a stuck open sunroof on this car. A person can use their hand, or a tool to pull on the sunroof while pressing the button to close it. Using some lubricant will help as well.Ê
"Fixed" is too broad of a term, is it stuck open, closed, leaking, not working at all. Specification needed here.
Motor is not turning both arms. See saturnfans.com for more info

Hey Liz==Sunroofs are very hard to keep from leaking when you work on htem therfore it takes a special mechanic familiar with them to work on them. I always send them to the local car trim place. good luck Joe Search for YouTube user Richpin. He has many Saturn tutorials, and I seem to remember one or two about sunroofs.
i worked at a Saturn dealership for a year in the parts dept and the only way to close the sunroof manually is to use the gear the motor drives. i can't remember but some or the sunroofs were direct drive som using the gear may not be an option.
Try replacing the hinges at the front of the sunroof, if you are lucky you could get theese from a brakers yard. Or on eBay.
