You can't. A cat will continue to come into to heat until it is mated (then will be back in season as soon as the kittens are weaned) or spayed.
Due to the greatly reduced risk of many health problems such as cancer in a spayed animal (not to mention spraying around the house and desperately trying to escape outside), spaying a cat is highly recommended.
Ask your veterinarian.
Depends on the vet. A lot of vets will refuse to spay a cat in heat due to the increased risk of excessive bleeding, but many vets will perform the procedure regardless of whether a cat was in heat or not.
A female cat is fertile its entire life. Spay your cat to stop it from going into heat in the future.
The external genitalia of the cat will look the same after it is fixed (or "spayed", some call it). When a female cat gets fixed, the veterinarian performs a surgery called an ovariohysterectomy where she/he will remove the ovaries and uterus of the cat, preventing her from getting pregnant or going into heat. I hope that helps! :)
The cat may have a bladder infection, you should take the cat to a veterinarian. Infections do not go away without antibiotics, and you can't use a human medicine for a cat, it can be fatal to the cat.
Has your cat been diagnosed by a Veterinarian for this? Or do you just think your cat has this? You should take your cat in to be properly checked out by a Veterinarian and then he or she will tell you what to do as far as proper medications and diet for your cat.
By taking your cat to your Veterinarian to have him or her checked out.

You never never want to do this at home. You want the last moments of your beloved pet to be peaceful or at least without pain. Only a Veterinarian can do this properly. This has to be injected into the vein or heart and if you miss you will cause great pain to your pet. It is worth everything to your pet to pass on without pain and only a Veterinarian can do this without pain so take your pet into your Vet and hold him or her tenderly while being given the injection which takes only a few seconds to act.
a veterinarian can get paid about a thousand cat balls a month
They get REALLY needy and are always purring. My cat is going through that right now.
um... go to the veterinarian
