How do you get a guy to ask you to Homecoming if you both like each other but you're both unsure of whether or not the other likes you?

I'm having the same issue right now too. There's this guy that I like, "David" and I'm pretty sure he likes me back, but I don't want to jump to conclusions. We've hung out outside of school and after. He even practiced Lacrosse down by my Field Hockey game without his shirt!
but the approach I'm taking is through a mutual friend, "Reilly". One of my good friends is his best friend, so I casually mentioned that David had been a little weird for a few days and Reilly said David hadn't said anything about it, so I figured I shouldn't worry. Things are back to normal, so I know that David does confide in Reilly.
I'm planning on asking Reilly what David thinks of me, just to start. And then we'll talk about it more. I don't want to seem too forward or freak out David.
But that's all the advice I can give now. Let's just see if it works!

Probably could go for it. If you think he likes you he probably does. Guy's aren't good at hiding their attraction for other people.
