Take the Vin number located in left front of windshield or on title to a GM dealer and he can make you a new key, cost for door is 5.00 and switch is 25.00, that is what is charged in Lancaster, SC

you have to call any GM dealership and ask for the parts department and they will give you one for about $35-50.

It doesn't use the car key. There is a special key. Mine was in the glove compartment. You may have to call the Buick dealership in your area if you don't have the special key. (Mine was made of green plastic).
