Use Fetch mp3
Just run the Limewire uninstaller. It won't delete the music. I can't think of any reason that deleting Limewire would delete your music. But if you want to make sure, just copy all of your music onto a different hard drive or a different computer, and then disconnect that hard drive/computer. Or if you only have one computer with one hard drive, you could encrypt your music library. http://www.truecrypt.org you should go to the file on the limewire application and then open my documents in a new window then just drag and drop the files
Well the best shot in getting rid of this virus s to download windows live onecare from the Microsoft website. Also try to stop using the application that you used to download the music. Whether that be a website or a media sharing program like limewire.
Yes, but that's the risk you take using Limewire. Limewire Pro does come with a form of AVG that is said to get rid of the risk, but I believe there is risk no matter how you look at it.
no once you have uninstalled limewire this information goes to the United Partership Of music and deployment which is then used to get your information on what you have done . Why would a person get rid of it usless thet felt scared and that's how the United Partership thinks , So they sneakly can get your info
get rid of limewire its a virus-like program. seriously, get your p2p somewhere else. remove all traces of it from your system.
Well yes you are safe from the law, but your not exactly. Unless you remove all downloaded content from limewire then technically you are still breaking the law by having illegal copies of media. Also if you have imported and music or files from limewire into another program, I suggest you get rid of these files as a little box will appear from limewire saying that some files are corrupt, although they are not, because limewire is not there. If these files are not deleted then limewire will corrupt your whole system as I found out last year. I ended up having to re-format. The safest thign to do is remove limewire and all file downloaded by it, no matter what program they're in.
yes. Go where it is located on your computer, then get rid of it. Delete it. Then empty your recycle bin. Or trash. I dont think you can get into trouble for downloading things of limewire. Since it is a p2p sharing system, limewire can get sued. Not u. But its YOUR instinct.
Open contol panel, click on add/remove programs. Find limewire from list and click uninstall.
Limewire is FREE!! go to download.com. Don't pay for it! Pro is avalable for $19(does nothing but gets rid of a message when you load it saying "would you like to upgrade to "Pro"). Even when you pay the $19, BUT! paying for it does not make it "legal" to download music. Both are "legal software" but file sharing is Illegal!!!!!
The easiest thing to do is get an antivirus program. I recommend Trend Micro, only $40.00 USD and VERY effective.
yes you go in your library right click a song and then go to locate on disk it will bring up a window and you look at the bottom left of the window for the itunes symbol if a song has artwork it will show the artwork and then in the bottom right corner of the artwork it will have the symbol make sure there is a document that is labeled as itunes Music Library
