First, get out of the sun. Google MELANOMA and check your "spot" against the pictures shown. Brown spots are common on people over 35 who have had significant sun exposure over their lifetimes. But a black spot is NOT common. If it's sun damage, it can be faded with prescriptions like "Solaraze" and other retin a products. They can also be lasered, causing the spot to blister and falla off over a few days time. But see a dermatologist, because if you have something more serious, it's imperative to have it surgically removed.
