Use the Print Screen key. This copies the entire desktop to the clipboard (CTRL + Print Screen copies just the active window). From there you can paste the image into any image editor (such as Microsoft Paint) and save the image as a bitmap. Finally, drag and drop the saved bitmap into Microsoft Word.
A screen saver is the thing when you turn on your computer and it says internet. BUT the SCREEN SAVER is the thing BEHIND where it says internet. Like the picture.

If by "home screen", you mean lock screen, you can do so in Settings > Wallpaper. I am not familiar with iOS 1 or 2, but I wouldn't imagine there is a different place in Settings if you are running either of those versions. Also note you cannot change your wallpaper for the "home" screen where your apps are located, this feature is restricted to iOS devices such as the iPhone 4 and newer, the iPod Touch (4th generation) and newer, and all iPads.
This is not possible. There is no such thing as Tortimer's Picture.
