twist oil filler collar (below the cap) counter clockwise about 1/4 turn, it will then pull out. Then pull rear end of plastic cover tab out of the hole that it "plugs" into, and lift cover off. All that holds it on is the tab sticking into the hole at the back, and the oil filler collar at the front.
Oil pan, bottom of engine. There is a plastic cover over it. Take off the small plastic cover.
take off the plastic cover and under where the silver cover on the engine says ecotech is where the spark plugs are located
Pull it off
It's directly underneath the plastic cover that covers the top of the engine, the plastic cover pulls off and the intake plenum is underneath it.
It is inside the side cover of the transmission. The frame / engine / trans. wil need to be lowered to get the cover off. Tech JK --------------------------------
grab both sides and pull firmly
On the top of the engine. (take off the plastic engine cover) It is in a black plastic housing that screws off. You have to buy the paper filter and 2 o rings from the Hyundai dealer.
there are two under the air intake system on top of the engine. you will need to take the air intake off as well as the plastic cover. be sure not to get any dust in your mass air flow sensor.... i did.
open the hood and there is a bracket with 2 screws take that braket off the take off plastic cover then you can do the job
water pump, intake, timing cover and valve cover if you tear them up taking them off
Under the hood on the right side as you're looking at the truck. It is in a black, plastic box. The cover just pulls off and there is a diagram on the underside of the cover.
the cover does not come off, you must remove the entire light assembly and remove the bulb from the back side
