Mostly if you signed the contract you own that vehicle so i would definitely talk to the dealer and see if you can work out anything. Only some dealers give you that choice but it is a company policy not the law.
if the car is bad you signed an as-is no warranty so the repairs are up to the person who bought the car. Now if you are nice and talk to the dealer that sold you the car they might give you a discount for the repairs but they are not obligated to fix anything unless they gave you a warranty
