go thru passenger side and open drivers door; remove inside of door panel. You will see wire rod unhooked next to left side. rehook rood and outside should wook. If this is not the problem then the outside door handle has broken and must be replaced by taking two nuts/bolts (don't remember now) from inside, unhook rod, and replace handle.
It could be your window regulator.
Maybe its your driver-side window regulator that stopped working.
Check the drivers side switch panel for the switch that locks out the passenger windows from working, make sure it is not on.
The motor/regulator assemblies fail quite often on these vans.
Check to see if your are getting powr and ground to motor - if so motor is bad and needs replacing If not try to find problem--could be switch or wiring to same
Would help if you listed the type of car you. But since this is the Buick forum, you might try under the rear seat for a riviera. Under the hood cowl for other buicks. Or you may have a bad master switch on drivers door. You need to check with test light to diagnose correctly.

Passenger dash and door speaker is not working?
Check to see if the air diverter door is working. It sounds like the door is shut and air cant come to the drivers side.
Check if there is voltage to window regulator motor; if there is replace motor.
Window motor i'd say. Both of mine have given up. €270 from Toyota for one, they can be had for £20 from eBay
if driver side not working it is on passenger side @ bottom of heater case. they also have one on drivers side right of gas pedal, recirc door is upper dash passenger side
