i would advise you to get a shop manual by haynes, or others before undertakeing a projext like that, can be found on eBay or amazon, or barnes and noble. good luck !!! n0rt
Try putting the key in the ignition and taking out quickly, and or lubricate the ignition lock mechanism. it worked for me.
Follow the upper radiator hose to the engine. Where it connects to the engine is normally the location of the thermostat housing. THAT IS NOT CORRECT. I LEARNED THIS BY EXPERIENCE. IT IS UNDERNEATH THE ENGINE AT THE WATER PUMP. I AM STILL WORKIN ON MINE SO NOT EVEN SURE YET THE BEST WAY TO REPLACE IT, BUT DONT WASTE YOUR TIME LIKE I DID TAKING APART THE HOUSING NEXT TO THE POWER STEERING PUMP
Sadly, it somewhat is. The engineering is mostly from Mercedes. Stupid Chrysler merger messed up Mercedes quality, and they are taking German engineering along with them.
Taking out the two Cadillac converters and putting a straight pipe on your Mercedes e430 will not damage your car.
The coolant temp sensor is located just under the thermostat housing. It is not easy to get to a stubby 19mm wrench or a deep socket with a swivel helps. Sometimes taking off the radiator hose and housing makes life a little easier. Hope this helped. Mike
Follow the hose from the top of the radiator back towards the engine, where it connects is the thermostat housing, this can be removed by taking out the 2 bolts. - remember to replace the gasket!
It is inelastic due to houses taking a long time to build so there will be a short supply of housing. there are also no alternatives to housing. There is but that is if you want to become homeless.
You can take the housing off but it involves taking your whole phone apart try looking on a blackberry website :)

companies would by houses and use them for their companies use, taking away housing fromlocals who need these houses for their daily living
You need to unhook the shifting linkage which typically is located on the top left side of the transmission then to keep the job clean you need to drain your transmission fluid by taking off your transmission pan. when you get that drained there should be 10 to 12 bolts by your bell housing which is where that transmission connects to the engine. after that you have to unhook your rear drive shaft if its a 4x4 youll need to remove the front one also. then there will be a cross brace. looseen up the bolts but don't take them all the way out. there also will be two bolts in the center of the brace take those bolts out then get a jack under the transmission and jack it up till the mount under the transmission is free then take the bolt out of the crossmember then take the crossmember out then let your jack down slowly
Some engines are easier than others. Follow the upper rad hose from the rad to the engine and there you will find the housing for the thermostat. take the 2 bolts holding it out after taking the hose off and when replacing it make sure the spring goes toward the engine.
