This a tricky one. I am in the process myself. The first obstacle is the "accessory wire". It's the hot wire that carries a 12 volt charge when the ignition switch is in the on position. This wire does run through the wiring harness. You have to "hard wire" this through the dash under your steering wheel. You need to locate the accessory wire (usually a thick brown wire) and splice into it. The next Obstacle I have come across is the location of the speaker wires. I am in the process of doing this now. After I get it figured out I will post those results. I once bought a wire harness kit at Wal-Mart.You connect the wires from the new unit to the plug in adapter then plug it into the factory radio plug.They sell the kits for many cars.If I remember correctly it was like $12.00 or less.
