you bring your car to your local mechanic. now wasn't that simple?
I'll include a video below along with the actual part, so that you can save yourself some time and money with making the repair yourself.
It can be done with simple hand tools.
The window regulator for the Nissan Primera is riveted to the door beneath the interior paneling. You would need to remove both the interior panel and the old regulator in order to replace it.
Which regulator and what year? You have a window regulator, voltage regulator, fuel pressure regulator to name a few.
More than likely, the window motor and/or regulator, (the mechanical part that raises and lowers the window - which is driven by the motor), is not good. Either, the motor has become weak, and/or the regulator is getting bound up. The driver's window generally gets used the most, so is likely to fail first.
Replace the window regulator
To install a new window regulator on a MGRZ driver's door, remove the door panel and the wiring attached to the power window mechanism. Remove stereo speaker from the inside door and the window glass. Remove the old window regulator and replace with new.
