1.First get a small screw driver or blade. 2.The separate part where the arm rest is where the window switch is, you need to pop that out, (there is a really small divet there i didn't see it at first but now that i know its there its obvious) there is a clip on the top of it to the right. Pop the clip out and gently pull up until the rest of the handle armrest is out. 3.There are two screws underneath there. 4.By the hinge of the door at the bottom by the speaker there is a black plastic button screw pull this out. 5.Now at the part where the mirror is connected (you should obviously see this part righ next to windows on the top) you can push that black piece to the right and pop that off. 6.Now lift up on the door panel and pull towards you. the door panel should easily slide off. 7.Now undo the 3 screws holding the mirror on, unconnect power cable if you have power mirrors. 8.Now just put it back together the same way you took it apart. ^^
To replace the exterior mirror on a 1996 Beretta, find a small plate on the inside of your door. Remove the screws and install the new mirror.
Remove the door panel. Towards the front of the door there are two screws holding the mirror on. Inside the door are two connectors that connect the mirror wires to the door. I have a 98 and if it is the same process that's all you need to do.

This is done from outside the vehicle. Fold the mirror back toward the door and you'll see the 3 mounting screws.
