1. Obtain an appropriatly sized spark plug socket and handle. 2. Remove the spark plug wire. 3. Clean around the old spark plug. 4. Remove the old plug by using the socket and handle (counterclockwise rotation). 5. Check new plug to old for proper thread size and length, adjust gap if necessary. 6. Hand screw new plug into cylinder head then torque to proper setting (from service manual). 7. Reattach spark plug wire. 8. Repeat above steps 1-7 4,6,8,or 10 times depending on engine size/type.

Remove spark plug wire boot from spark plug. Loosen spark plug using proper size deep well socket. Once loose, continue removal, by hand if desired. Begin by removing the spark plug wire from the top of your spark plug. Remove the spark plug by using a 5/8 deep well socket. Turn the socket to the left. The spark plug will come out. Reverse the process to install your new spark plugs.
Remove the spark plug/s and crank the engine over with the plugs removed.Be sure to keep the plug wires away from the spark plug hole so they do not ignite the gas that blows out of the spark plug hole.Dry off the spark plug/s and reinstall or install new plug/s.
