Fallout 3: Game of the Year edition is not a downloadable content. It is a re-realse of Fallout 3, rechristened after winning the Game of the Year award that must be purchsed just like Fallout 3 was (at a store, or via the internet). It includes all the Fallout 3 DLC: The Pitt, Operation Anchorage, Broken Steel, Point Lookout, and Mothership Zeta.
Game of the year edition is better, because you get the 5 expansions and the original game, in collectors you just get a bobblehead and a fallout 3 lunchbox
Yes that's what I did
You pay your money to Xbox Live or PlayStation Network, download and install it.

Yeah.
The game of the year edition has extra missions that are really neat and give you unique opportunities to get crazy weapons and armour, if you get the broken steel addon it will let you go to level 30

Sorry, but trophies only become available for Fallout 3 on the PS3 system if you purchased the Game of the Year edition.
It does have them on PC but not on any consoles such as PS3 or XBOX360
You finish the normal campaign then it will kick in.
