you cannot directly interface a relay to a microcontroller, you need a buffer circuit in between the two, you can use a NPN transistor BC 547, connect the controller pin directly to the base of the transistor (since there is an internal 10k pull up resistor inside the controller no need of any base resistor). Connect the transistors emitter to the gnd & the collector to the relay coil, the another end of the relay coil goes to the supply, check this link for complete information http://www.dnatechindia.com/index.php/Tutorials/8051-Tutorial/Relay-Interfacing.html
You need to be more clear in what type of "interface" you are inquiring about. Linux has it's own API (Application Programming Interface) and ABI (Application Binary Interface). If you are referring to the user interface, Linux can have a GUI, a command line, or even no interface at all.

Yes. An interface in essence is a java class and so you can use the term interface class. But, using the term class along with the term interface can cause ambiguity or misunderstandings among novice java developers. So, using the term "Interface" along would suffice to refer to a type of class which is the "Interface"

A tagging interface type in Java is an interface that has not defined methods such as the java.io.Serializable interface.
An interface doesn't have instances!

Type your answer here... The first microprocessor was found in 1971 by Intel, and it's name was Intel 4004.
Microprocessor are widely used in this generation for performing any type of electrical signal processing task. because of it's feaatures. Some of them are described here- 1> very fast processing 2> programmable 3> easily interface between peripherals 4>less extra hardware. 5> reliable 6>economical. 7>compact and portable.

Because each microprocessor type has its own unique machine code.
