When i got my 1996 Buick Riviera I that was my first question, how do I jump this car under the hood? First of all there is a plastic box (black) under the windshield washer filler tank about 3 inches wide and 1/34 inches deep. In the box is a positive cable that leads to the battery so hook up your cables there and find a ground on the frame for the negative cable. I like having the battery under the seat it doesn't get overheated or terribly cold. Good Luck
Lift up the back seat, it is nestled under there Or you can open the hood and look on the passengers side for a thick cable that is just held on to the car by a big lug-nut plug the red wire to it and the black one anywhere metal so it can ground itself to the car its much easier than lifting the backseat
· Rabbit (VW) · Range Rover · Regal (Buick) · Reliant · Riveria (Buick) · Roadster
I have that car and you can remove them from the truck of the car.
If you mean the engine, yes. The actual car, no.
The Classic Accessories will work very well with a 1997 Buick Regal.
A 1996 Buick Regal will jump start using a portable battery pack. Another person can also use jumper cables to help jump start another car.
there is no heat inside the car what is wrong ?
it is DEAD . That's quite an old car, you must expect problems.
Why , they do not go bad. What is wrong with car?
As many as the manufacturer specifies. Buick manufactured a few different models of car in 1997, and they don't all have the same fuel tank. A specific model would be needed in order to answer this question.
