try replacing the fuel filter and check the fuel pressure AND NEVER BLOW AIR INTO THE GAS LINE AGAIN YOU WILL BREAK SOMETHING IF YOU HAVENT DONE SO ALREADY
Under the right exhaust manifold towards the rear of the engine.
The oil pressure switch will be loated behind your engine when looking at the car from the front. Itll be under the compartment holding your air filter towards the center of the engine itself.
Here is advice:You need a 1" or 1-1/4" DEEP socket then find it on the top of the engine block towards the passenger side of the fan towards the front of the engine. Unscren coiunterclockwise. Replace with the new one and reconnect the wire/connector. That's it. Remove the Negative battery terminal for 15-20 minutes and reconnect. Then start engine.the battery disconeect is to erase the signal on das from the computer after the sensor has been replaced
Remove the fuel pump and relieve the fuel system pressure. Disconnect the fuel line then fix the fuel pressure gauge. Reconnect the fuse to the fuel pump and start the engine to check leakage. Tidy the surrounding of the fuel pressure regulator.
If you are talking about the oil pressure sensor/switch. This is located on the engine itself towards the back firewall. It can be seen from the bottom of the car.
Its on the passenger side of the engine in front (towards headlights) of the coil pack. It has a black cap on it
The process to change the pressure sensor is the same for any engine in the 2005 Silverado, but the location may change between engine types. The sensor should be close to the oil filter. Remove the sensor wire, then screw the sensor out. Screw a new sensor in, then reconnect the wire.
The oil pressure sensor on a 5.7 GMC vortex engine is located next to the distributor. This will be towards the back of the engine block on the right hand side.
im not sure what you mean by "pressure hose" but if its part of the evaporative emission controls, it pressurizes itself. if you disconnect then reconnect the battery, the check engine light should go out. if that was the problem, the light will stay off. if it comes back on, bring it to a garage, they can "scan" it and find more specifically what the problem is.
On a 1998 Lincoln Continental : The thread on cap on your engine coolant reservoir is the pressure cap / radiator cap . The engine coolant reservoir is in your engine compartment , towards the passenger side of the engine compartment
It is screwed into the top of the engine block RIGHT behind the distributor towards drivers side.
Spring towards engine.Spring towards engine.
