The SOHC engine is usually labeled as such. I really can't describe the visual difference in this format, but you can always look it up by finding the 8th digit in your VIN number and asking your local auto parts store. The 8th digit is the engine code number.

If you are referring to your power door lock on the driver's door, I know that on my 1995 Explorer XLT, in the jack storage compartment there are relays for driver door unlock/all door unlock/all door lock/ and two more relays for interior lamps and trailer park lamps.
As far as I know , 2002 and newer 4 door Explorers don't have a transmission dipstick . Ford has a way of checking from under the vehicle = Helpfull
I have 93 ford explorer XLT 4 door, can't get in either rear door? I know one door has child lock on drivers side, other side won't open palin and simple. A diagram and or instructions how to fix this problem would be greatly!!! appreciated. Thank you to all out there. I'm Frustrated
