test the compression in all cylinder bores to rule out the valves or for novice home mech. take the cylinder head in to a machine shop to have a compression test done.

A bent valve will be noisy, each time it is hit by the cam it will bang, the cylinder will not burn fuel and you may even have burning oil.

You will most liklely have a MIL light and a code for emissions like O2 sensor and/or cylinder misfire because of the unburnt fuel making the cat hot, but it could also be an intake valve so you could have backfiring through the intake and rough running for sure.

Get a mechanic to do it. You obviously have no idea as to the complexity of the task. e.g valve stem seals, valve seats, warped head tolerances etc.

User Avatar

Check the valve cover gasket, if not that you may have a warped head.

User Avatar

No, if there is coolant in your valve cover it'll be mixed with oil. You blew your head gasket, possibly warped or cracked your head. It may look like coolant is leaking from your valve cover but it's your intake gasket leaking.

Some do... There's a few indoor ones, and there's a few tents that may have Wi-Fi. So if you know where your location's Warped is going to be at, call them (Not Warped Tour) and find out if they offer Wi-Fi. Usually not, though.

That is the most typical thing to cause a warped head. A warped head is a severe diagnoses and not the first thing that would come to mind for a problem. Don't know what the issue is but if you have a problem that has lead to you think you have a warped head and you haven't had a extreme over heat of the motor I will bet you don't have warped head.

A warped rotor or rotors can cause a pulsation when applying the brakes. The car may shake a bit or a lot, depending on the condition of the rotor(s). Further diagnosis is recommended (and soon) as warped rotors may lead to loss of control of a vehicle that is braking.

User Avatar

There can be. Only way to know is have your brakes and rotors inspected.
