Yes, if they both call for the same type. You need to use what ever type the owners manual calls for.
Use only BMW recommended coolant.
You don't need to use a Honda brand coolant. You just need to know what type of coolant your vehicle requires. Regular coolant (green) and dexcool(orange) Do not mix these two up! When you look at the coolant reservoir it should tell you what type it needs, if not there look in the owners manual or if all else fails just peer inside the reservoir or radiator cap(make sure the car is not hot or you might just have a face full of hot coolant) to see what color it is. to make it easier, they make a coolant, which is compatible with any color coolant.

AnswerI dont know the answer but one of the things i would look at is the type of coolant you may be useing. If its the Green/yellow Glycol type ..remove it and flush out the entire cooling system. you need to use the Dodge Red colored coolant its not corrosive to this trucks cooling system. other than that ..I have no idea Check your owners manual to see what kind of coolant your truck requires. There about 3 different kinds.
The recommended coolant type for a Ford Taurus is the green coolant. There are several different brands such as Prestone.
