You don't need to use a Honda brand coolant. You just need to know what type of coolant your vehicle requires. Regular coolant (green) and dexcool(orange) Do not mix these two up! When you look at the coolant reservoir it should tell you what type it needs, if not there look in the owners manual or if all else fails just peer inside the reservoir or radiator cap(make sure the car is not hot or you might just have a face full of hot coolant) to see what color it is. to make it easier, they make a coolant, which is compatible with any color coolant.
