just so you know when i put a new stereo in my aerostar i had to run new wires to the stereo speakers because the stock stereo had a common ground so one ground for two speakers i damn near fried the deck figuring that out hopefuly you wont.
There is a cdoe programed in to the vans "brain" and it is telling you that there is something wrong. i have fixed this in a 1994 Aerostar. The dealer will know what to do from there.
An A/C shop will know. The leak must be repaired before adding refrigerant.
I read where if a brake light is out it wont work, other than that I really dont know.
the answer is here www.installdr.com I had the same problem.
Usually the length of the oem wires from the distributor can give you a general idea. Hope this helps
there is a fusebox in a car it is labeled 1 through 16 I just need to know what number is the fuse for the radio in a 1994 Chevy Corsica my fuse blew for my radio
If you need to know that. You should not be behind the wheel.
On a 1994 Ford Aerostar : Follow the top radiator hose from the radiator : I know on the 4.0 liter , OHV , V6 engine , the top radiator hose connects to a metal pipe that is part of the engine cooling thermostat housing that is bolted to the front of the engine ( the thermostat is inside the housing )
how do i hardwie a touch screen radio
Not sure what you mean by "immediately". You do know that overdrive doesn't kick in until 50 mph (80 kmh)?
It's the only way we know to connect it to the telephone network without using wires.
the brown and grey wires come from the dash and were hooked up to the old radio does anyone know what i can do with them so my dash lights will turn on again
The Audi A4 platform with some radio systems had the radio power the two front speakers. The rear speakers were powered by an amplifier which is actually attached to the speaker with all of these wires that you see. I know in my 1999 Audi A4 car without the bose package this was the setup. The wires are for audio, power for the amp, radio turnon signal, etc. Some of the newer audi's I believe still use this type of a setup but I do not know exactly which ones.
It means Security and you need the lock out code in order to get your radio to work or go to a dealership.
the fastest and easyest way to replace a stereo is to replace all the wires as well then you know every thing is good
Believe it or Not You have to Change your Spark Plug and Distributor Wires, to Noise suppressor type wires and probably put in a noise suppressor filter in the Hot wire that runs the Stereo. I know it sound different but this works.
My friend said his ford Aerostar was front wheel drive? ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ As far as I know the Ford Aerostar has always been rear wheel drive or all wheel drive capable
I don't Know what type or how big you Aerostar is but I have a 95 3.0 v6 and it weighs 3370 lbs. I only know this because I got the weight during the annual inspection that's required by some states.
What exactly do you want to know about "Air conditioning clutch on a 94 ford aerostar van?" How to replace? What engine do you have, etc.?
I am trying to install an after market stereo into a 97 Nissan Pickup. I do not know what the wires from the 97 Nissan Pickup do, however, I do know what the wires on the stereo that is to be installed are (i.e. ground = black, yellow = battery). I do not know which wire to attach in aftermarket stereo's wires to in order to make it work and not cause damage to the stereo or the truck.Thank you for your time and consideration. This has been driving me crazy!Cheers-
You insert the code with the radio presets. Just push the reset # that corresponds to the radio preset. If you have locked the radio up just leave it on for a few hours and it will reset so you can enter the code again.
You need to know the firing order to know where your wires go.
put in the stock radio, does your car start, if it does then its the radio causing the problem, if not then more problems then the radio. if it does start with the stock radio in i would think the aftermarket radio is causing some kind of fault in the car, perhaps the radio is sending a faulty message in the i-bus telling the car not to start. i would jump out any bus wires so they are not routed through the aftermarket radio and see what happens. good luck.
yea. it is! if you don't know the wires. i would just run your own from radio to speaker. connect all wires where they go.
