Duh...when the vehicle won't stop or your freaking breaks squeal so bad the sound is breaking the windows of the buildings you are driving by!! Recommendation...novices usually take it to GoodYear or somewhere to get checked. Minimual charge to check something out...just don't take it to the dealership or you'll get your wanker chopped off at the cash register sort of speak.
In order to get the right answer i need to know (front or rear)
If it's a job which requires a CDL, then you cannot have the "no air brake" restriction. There is no such thing as an "air brake license" in the US.
No, a disc brake repair job won't be anymore expensive than traditional brake jobs. If you have performance brakes or an ABS system, that would probably be the most expensive brake job.
80,000 miles
The brakes have wear indicators on them. When you hear a high pitch sound when you apply the brakes, chances are likely you need a brake job. I suggest if you need this job done, buy Carbon Ceramic brake shoes and/or pads as they are quiet and have less "dust".[But ,they cost a little more]
A brake master cylinder? If you are losing brakes or brake fluid.
Need brake job. Pads badly worn.
The brake rotors are warped are out of round. Need to do a brake job and have the rotors turned are replaced. Be sure to install new pads and shoes.
To know how well someone can do the job they would need to know what the job is. Without knowing what the job is there really is not a way for a person to know how well they can do it.
Don't know if it needs brake fluid only way to know is to check you master cylinder brake fluid reservoir.
If you are driving and need to brake, but find your brake pedal is getting closer and closer to the floorboard, you need the check your fluid. Eventually your brakes will not have enough fluid to create the pressure needed to apply the brake pads properly and you risk accidents.
Need to know what the question is.
