For each accessory there will be a locking bolt and a pivot bolt or nut. After they are loosened move the component as needed to tighten or loosen the belt. Many accessories have a square hole designed to accept a 1/2 inch square drive breaker bar. the bar can be used to lever the accessory and tighten the drivebelt ( fan belt ) Others have a cast lug, use an wrench for the same effect, but careful of those knuckles!
Since There is no tensioner pulley you have to loosen your alternator.
disconnect the battery source first, disconnect the wiring on the alternator, then loosen the bolts on the mounts to loosen the belt. then loosen and remove the bolts. remove the alternator, and replace with new one.
Ajustment bolt is located at the bottom of power steering pump.

The alternator is the adjustment point. Loosen the bolts holding the alternator to the engine and slide the alternator in towards the engine. This will allow you to remove the fan belt. However, if you also have power steering, the power steering belt may have to be removed before the alternator belt can be completely removed. The belt tensioner for the AC/Alternator belt is beneath the alternator. Facing the engine from bumper you can see the ac/alternator belt tensioner on the left side and beneath the alternator. Losen that bolt with size 12 socket. Next, loosen the tensioner bolt until the belt loosens. Now, with the Power Steering Belt you can loosen it by locating the belt tensioner usually found inside of the power steering belt on the power steering pump. Loosen both bolts and if needed pry UP the power steering belt tensioner and the belt should loosen. Repeat until belt comes off. Installation is the reversal of removal. NOTE: You may have to pry down the power steering pump tensioner to tighten the belt.
You must first loosen the alternator, do not remove it. remove the alternator tension screws top and loosen the bottom screws DO NOT REMOVE push the alternator toward engine, for the a/c belt you must loosen the belt tension pulley and move it. replace in reverse order
loosen the alternator bolts and then push the alternator downward to loosen the one belt and the other belt you have to loosen the power steering pump and push down on it to take the other belt off.
I would suggest not changing it yourself when I did it I was told to loosen alternator then its in the way ended up messing up the power steering hose. just cheaper to take it to your local kia dealer
you have to loosen the top alternator bolt alowing the alternator to swing forward loosening the belt
