What you do in the pool is less important than what you do at the dinner table. Exercise can help, and it doesn't matter much what it is as long as it gets your heart going faster than usual. Try to keep it up for 30-60 minutes.
But it's really hard to lose any weight if you are overeating. Start by cutting down hard on everything that's sugary and fatty. Giving up sodas and anything deep fried is a good start.

i am a 12 year old that weighs 135 and i wat to lose weight i just started a schedule like thing where when i get home from school i will jump on the trampoline for 20 minutes then get in the pool and swim 12 times around the pool and before ebery meal i drink a glass of water really fast i have lost 5 pounds in the past week from doind this i still eat i still have fun too.
