Simple. You just make sure there is no reference to the person to whom you are mailing the blind copy on the letter. Make an extra copy of the letter and mail it to the blind copy recipient. The key is this: The only place the blind copy's recepient's name or address should appear is on the envelope going to him/her.

Assuming you meant BCC not BBC - It stands for 'Blind Carbon Copy'. It's a method of sending the same email to more than one person - without each recipient knowing who else is getting it. Each person only sees their name on the email.

What does Cc mean on your email?

"Cc" stands for "carbon copy". Years ago, to make a copy of something one was writing, carbon paper was put in between two or more sheets of paper. (It still is used by many seamstresses to put down printed lines on fabric for accurate cutting.)For correspondence, it also meant to whom a copy of one's business letter went to, as well as the originally intended recipient. It could also mean that a copy was made for the files of one's business prior to being sent out."Bcc" stands for "blind carbon copy". A blind carbon copy means that copies are sent to other recipients, without their names or addresses being divulged. As an etiquette professional, I prefer that emails sent out en masse to my personal email address, be sent out using "Bcc" I do not wish to have the email addresses of hundreds of people I do not know, nor do I wish for them to have mine.

What does Bcc mean in an email?

BCC in an email stands for Blind Carbon Copy. If any sender is sending mail to TO and CC each receiver will view the receipt name i.e who else has got this mail. But if receipt name is in the BCC either TO or CC will not able to know who else got this mail and even BCC person also don't know who else got this mail.

What are the difference between CCand BCC?

CC is short for carbon copy. People whose addresses go in the cc field of an e-mail are people who get a copy of the e-mail even though it is not addressed to them. For example, if you are sending an e-mail on someone else's behalf, the person for whom you are sending the e-mail gets a copy. BCC is short for blind carbon copy. The usage is the same as for cc, but the names and addresses in the bcc field are hidden from everyone receiving the e-mail. Before personal computers were available, if you were sending a message in writing and you wanted it to look professional, you used a typewriter. If you wanted to have an extra copy of the letter you were typing, you would put two sheets of paper into the typewriter with a sheet of carbon paper in between. As you typed, ink from the carbon paper would make a copy of your text on the second page, which was called a carbon copy.
