If your baby isn’t moving at all (no crawling, ‘bum-sliding’ or shuffling) by 12 months, then don’t hesitate to bring him or her to your doctor to get them checked out.
To encourage your baby to walk, first they need to crawl; you can learn to walk without learning to crawl first! Here are some of our tips:
When they crawl, place your hands or an object against their feet to get them used to the sensation of using their feet to push off against.
Place stable objects around your baby’s area that they will be able to pull themselves up to standing with.
Once they are comfortable standing, hold both their hands and practice walking with you giving full sup port. After this, your baby will walk when they are ready (and maybe with some light encouragement!).
basically you can't make a baby walk it will do it on his or her own but dont worry it will walk unless its he or she is crippled or paralyzed
Push the baby
Baby Elephant Walk was created in 1961.
Encourage your baby with the rattle when she is looking at you to make her get up and encourage her once again with your voice or the rattle to make her walk towards you. This is what the doctor said. But what i am going to say is close to what the doctor said first shake the rattle in front of your babies face then talk to her like (try to say stuff that will help her get up and walk to you, you can say; you can do it and stuff like that) then she will get up and try to walk that's it that's what i did and i got it
once they can walk
teach them how to walk and sit with him/her and then she may get more skills
