the clutch system on an early 200sx is hydraulic (NON ADJUSTABLE). 1994 and up is a cable...adjust the release lever on the trans 1/8" to 5/32", by loosening the lock nut (12mm wrench) and turning the plastic wheel with your fingers, tighten lock nut recheck...pedal height should equal that of the brake and is adjusted on the pedal assembly (14mm wrench) bolt with lock nut. this should give you pedal freeplay of 1/2" to 3/4"...all else being in proper repair...disc not worn, cable not bad ect.
2.4 litres and make sure it is Nissan gearbox oil as other oils wont work aswell.
The average cost to repair a 2000 Nissan Maxima clutch is $600. The clutch will cost approximately $75. The labor will make out the rest of the cost.
You cannot adjust the clutch. It is hydraulic, with a master cylinder and slave cylinder in the transmission. Their are no adjustments. Make sure system has fluid and no leaks.
Any major brand. There is little difference in the major brands. Just make sure you use the correct weight oil.
Use the Nissan pressure plat and the Mazda clutch plate and you'll also need to manufacture a bush to support your spigot shaft.
To adjust the headlights on a 2004 Nissan Quest, open the hood and look at the back of the headlamp assembly. Disconnect the wiring connection and turn the bulb socket to make adjustments.
I have a 2006 Nissan frontier and on mine the clutch safety switch is located at the very bottom of the clutch pedal travel. That is to make sure you push the clutch all the way in when you start so you can't accidentally crank it over in gear and drive into a wall (Seen it done twice by two different coworkers in an older dodge w/o the clutch switch!!)
no not really , but you can bleed air from it by the same method of bleeding brokes
The throw-out bearing is toast. Don't drive it anywhere but to a local garage for repair.
Because you need a new one, sorry pal, just had to do the same with my jeep. try not to ride the clutch while driving, it'll only make it worse
The voltage regulator is attachd to the alternator. It bolts on the alternator itself. If you ever replace the alternator, dont make the same mistake I did and not remove the voltage regulator because they are not sold as a whole unit..
you must have a clutch. put in second gear and push it and pick up some speed ,then engage cluch and put in second gear and release clutch ,make sure u have the key turned on.
