It depends on what sounds on the internet you are talking about. If you mean navigation noises, those would be set under Sounds in the control panel. If you mean sound clips and videos, then that could be one of several issues.
If you are missing videos too, you might need to reinstall the Flash Player. Just visit Adobe's site and install or upgrade that.
If you have trouble playing a variety of sounds and videos, even from your own folders, then you would need to install a codec pack. I like using K-Lite, since it has nearly every codec you would need in one package and is a balanced, compatible set. It even looks for the most common codec configuration problems and can optionally re-register certain core system files. If you go with K-lite, get the 32-bit version regardless of the OS, and also install the 64-bit version if your OS supports it. The 64-bit versions of Windows use both 32-bit and 64-bit codec files.
Here is a list of things to check and try:
you need to reload or update your internet broswer
First check your internet connection if it is good then try again. it isn't good then fix it or reconnect to your Internet.
it is not a virus you just have to redownload a software update for the sound card to work again
First thing to do is to restart your computer. If is still does not work, open System Preferences and check the sound settings. Make sure the output is set to Line Out for the Built In Audio.
you go into the swkotor file in program files. go in swconfig and activate force software sound. i had the same problem. but if that dont work go in swconfig again and disable sound. and it will work. WITH NO SOUND!!!!!!
internet are man made thing which make our work easy
There is a few things you can do... - Reset your router (turn off then on again) - Reset your browser - Turn your wifi off then on again or unplug the ethernet cable and put it in again. If none of the above work then try contacting your internet provider.
I would click on the sound icon at the bottom right corner, and than click on mixer if you are not on it yet. While on the mixer windows will show you which programs are using the sound device. If the browser you are currently using is there make sure the bar is set high in the level. If the mixer shows that the internet is using the sound device and its not on mute, check the material you are browsing like youtube videos, make sure they are not in mute and are not at a real low volume level.if none of that seems to work check for speaker cables to be plugged in perfectly.
You can't.
Yes.
This is not necessary directly possible, however this could possibly work. It depends which PS3 you have. If you have the 60GB this will work. On the other hand because the 20GB does not have wireless this will not work. But again if you look around the internet it is possible to make the 20GB PS3 wireless. I found this site that tells you how to make your dial-up connection wireless, now if this is something you don't want to do, or it's too hard I'm at a blank. This site: http://www.notebookforums.com/thread113829.html will explain in detail how to make your dial-up wireless.
