first check to make sure the heater hoses from the motor are connected to the heater core ( they will be about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter.if those are connected, then check to make sure that the inline valve in the heater hose is opening when you select the heat mode on the heat controller on the dashboard. if valve is not opening then you may have a vacum leak or electrical problem if the valve is controlled electrical.another problem to check would be the fuse panel for a blown fuse. Just from personal experience if your radiator runs dry the heater wont work either. Keep an eye on your radiator fluid level and make sure you dont have a leak in the coolant system. Other wise you should be able to move the daik from cold to hot (blue-red) select your button setting on the dash board and go. Or it's a bad heater core wich should be in your cash boardm
The Sun doesn't make things blow up, but it does make Mercury quite hot.
No! Thermostat.
where is the fuel reset swith for a 1989 mercury topaz
MIght be the injector itself.
Topaz is used to make jewelry mainly!
the blown head gasket would make it over heat. but it wouldn't cause the heater to blow cold, it should actually blow hot if that is wat happened
Run a new ignition switch controlled "hot" wire directly to fan motor
if youre trying to turn the heater on and cold air comes out, then its most likely the heater core
Put in a winter thermostat
Heater core leaking.
sounds like you are too far down the launch ramp or you live in a really wet area ..
The mixing door isn't working. Take it to the garage as it porbably is the controler. First make sure there is vacuum getting inside the cab from the engine.
