Having thoughts of making yourself sick because you feel you have eaten too much probably denotes bulimia. These are not the thoughts of a person with a healthy attitude toward their weight. You are not alone in your thoughts and, if you are bulimic, you are not alone in your illness. However, the longer you continue to have this unhealthy attitude toward food and your body, the more long term damage you will most certainly do to yourself.
Making yourself sick as a "one off" will force your body to be unnaturally sick. This will cause undue pressure to your brain and heart. It can result in the short term in blood vessels around your eyes to burst, headaches and sore throat due to stomach acid. Making yourself sick as a "one off" will also result in many other consequences.
Making yourself sick more than a "one off" because you feel ill can in the longer term cause hair loss, tooth rot and gum disease, acne and even heart attack as well as irreparable damage of the oesophagus, stomach and kidneys amongst other consequences which include death.
Anything that is likely to cause health problems and death is not worth losing a few pounds over! It is vital that you seek help immediately. Talk to your doctor. Explain that you have these thoughts and they can recommend people to speak to. There are also confidential helplines that you can call simply by searching on the web.
Everyone has a little binge once in a while, eating far more than they should and feeling very full and bloated afterward. If you feel like this after eating, try and take your mind off it by going for a walk - the exercise combined with getting away from the lure of a bathroom will soon have you feeling differently about your body. The longer you think about making yourself sick, the more likely you will be to do it. The longer you can put off making yourself sick, the less likely you will be to do it on that occasion. First and foremost though, don't binge and stay away from opportunities where you may be inclined to do so. These are not the answers to the problem though, they are merely helpful hints to prevent you making yourself sick.
More than anything you need to address the issue that is the problem itself and seek help. Don't feel anbarrassed, don't feel ashamed. Talk to a family member you are close to and trust and/or speak to a doctor or helpline. It really isn't worth risking your life - you only have one!
Your bulimic.
A binge is in an "anorexic" tendency if the person later fasts, severly restricts, or excessively exercises for the next few days to "make up for" the calories eaten during that binge. A binge is in a "bulimic" tendency is the person later purges by vomiting or laxative abuse to rid their body of much of the food from the binge.
Binge eaters do not necessarily throw up afterwards, however that may be an unintended consequence of eating a huge quantity. Bulimic's actually do try and make themselves throw up, and may do so after a normal sized meal rather than just after a period of binge eating.
it helped bring food to there people
1. folding chair 2. blanket 3. food/drink 4. jacket
Not eating will make you unhealthy. Skipping meals is also more likely to make you binge eat later on because you let yourself get so hungry that you eat anything in sight.
Confidence in yourself will make you happy for as you live.
Set yourself a goal. Make sure you look at really fat and ugly people and tell yourself you never want to look like it. Then make sure you don't eat any more pie.
Work it out yourself.
Make rules and follow them. Like in that special K advert were she has the postit notes in the different places, you could do that and have nothing were you would normally keep the food. Keep yourself busy for example read a book, clean your room, clean the house, turn music on and start dancing, arrange to go out, go for a walk, or try something as simple as drinking a glass of water, becasue sometimes your body is thirsty but we automatically think its Hungary!
Money and a camera. if the stadium alows you, you can bring some food or buy from the stadium. Make sure you bring/buy water!
People bring food as a gesture of caring because they know that when you are grieving and dealing with the funeral preparations, the last thing on your mind is the making and consumption of food. They want to make sure you don't forget to eat, so they bring something that you don't have to make for yourself.
