Remove the four 13mm bolts from the winch bracket and the whole assembly will come down.

The spare tire should easily fir back under the Dodge Caravan. You will need to winch the holder down and put the spare back on and tighten it up. There are some cases of malfunction with the winch. If this happens, take the vehicle to the dealership and they will put the spare tire back on.
Get a winch plate to mount to the bumper. Then mount the winch to the winch plate.

It depends if you have stow and go seating, Look under the vehicle up by the front bench seats (middle of vehicle). Usually its at the very rear of the vehicle underneath. You will need the Tire wrench(or 19mm socket with wrench) to lower it into place via the winch adapter(Located in the floor, covered by an acces door or carpet cut out).

1. Remove the lock cylinder with key. 2. Pinch open the plastic retainer collar that connects the guide tube to the winch, and slide the tube out of the way. 3. Remove the 5/8" mounting bolt that holds the winch to the body. I needed a breaker bar to get mine loose. To lower the spare tire you need to some tools and a jack. There is a cable winch holding the spare in place, so you will have to loosen it using your tools.
