First, you need to stand up to them when it is safe to do so. If you fail to do so, you may hate yourself later. So it is good to stand up to them to avoid regrets.

Singing or carrying music with you is good if the problem is street harassment. For some reason, it seems to lessen the number of incidents.

When you are being called names, try not to look at the person nor act like you even notice. If your name is not the ugly things they are calling you, then why answer to them?

Use affirmations to constantly pump yourself up and to counter the messages of the bullies.

Develop yourself. Take up hobbies, lift weights, or do whatever you can do to feel secure and confident.

Eliminate abuse. If you are being abused by your parents, get the authorities involved. Victims of one type of abuse are often more vulnerable to other types.

To be honest you shouldn't have to 'cope' with bullying. YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TELL. I know it can be hard but being bullied is unfair and must be dealt with. Bully's aren't happy people and neither are the victims. But to be honest if you feel you want to cope it out for a little while, good friends solve most of the problems I my self have come across.

If you are being bullied, or your friend is, you should stick together. If you are not being bullied, but think you might be in the future, then you should act more confidently, stand up tall, and not be scared by others. Answer

Bullying is abusive behavior, in any context. It is not something you can really keep from happening--it occurs because you are different in some way and that threatens the bully. Amazing, isn't it?

The management of the school or business where you are being bullied should have zero tolerance for its happening. However, most--erroneously--see it as something you can prevent from continuing and that it is a failing on your part. When my child was being bullied at a school north of Houston, there was no recourse. My child was very intelligent and had speech delays. Abuse varied from taking his pens/pencils and other school supplies in class, to dragging him off the bleachers and beating him up on the play ground. The principal would not approach the other child or parents. However, other parents who knew the ropes told me to remove him from the school before mental and physical damage was done. We did.

I have had similar problems at several jobs and finally ended up leaving. I tried speaking to the perpetrator in private, yelling back, writing to HR and talking to the manager. Each time I tried to work it out and had to quit after it became unworkable. In the end, the companies pay in lost experience and morale for enabling bullies to continue their behavior.

You should not be ashamed of being bullied, but you should empower yourself to get out of toxic situations that you cannot change. Even though it is scary, the new situation is always better. And, to repeat the critical piece: it is NOT your fault. (see related question)

well there are a few things .

1.you can tell a teacher or a parent .
2.you can try and be friends with the bully
3.find out why the person bullys it could be of depression or maybe that person got bullied when was younger
4.if the bullying is getting hurtful like puching or kicking then i would right away tell my parents no matter how much your parents would emmbarase you its always worth it because then life would be much more calm and peacful and no more bullying!

It depends on how serious the bullying is, if its some minor name calling for example the best thing to do if often just to ignore the bully. If you do not show a reaction most bullies will quickly get bored as they are not getting the reaction they want. However if the bullying is more serious then the above solutions are the best thing to do.

They're is no "Worst" bullying. The only type of bullying is physical.
