The steps are: 1. - Pop the trunk 2. - On the drivers side remove the inner clips 3. - Pull back the liner at the top to expose the inner trunk 4. - Reach your hand in behind the stiffener panel and locate the release plunger 5. - Turn the plunger 90 degrees counter clockwise to release the door.
