Call the dealer for that.
You cant just call the dealer for that, its why i asked this question, you need a code and i have found the codes for Pontiac but not Oldsmobile, there is also a number to call once you have the code. You can take it in to a dealer but all they can do is call for you and i havent found anyone to do for less than $80 bucks so im trying to do it myself there has to be a way . but thanks anyway
no you cannot use it in 2004 Oldsmobile alero

Not on a GM or a Chrysler It can be unplugged to make sure the fuel pump is working(On a Jeep Cherokee). But for spark, "This sensor cannot be bypassed; that sensor tells the pcm when to fire the coil. "
I'd call a locksmith. They will be able to tell you the exact problem and how to fix it.
