Then, move the assembly sideways away from the car - i.e. to the left if you're removing the LH assembly, or to the right if you're removing the RH assembly. You must do this while holding the assembly clear of the mounting points that you removed the screws from. The assembly is removed sideways, not toward the read as you might expect. With the assembly free of the vehicle, you can remove the bulb assembly by twisting it and then pulling it out. Replace the globe and reverse the process to reassemble.
