While stationary and in neautral there is a red button on the left handlebar on the rear brake lever. You need to push this down and pull the brake lever and then you can push the foot gear selector down for reverse.
You will have to get a brake spoon and from the backside of the drum pull out the rubber plugs and look inside and you will see a gear wheel, the wheel needs to be turned downward to back the brake shoes off from the drum and then the drum should come off.
should just pull off if parking brake not engaged
pull the wheels off and on the studs there is two loskrings that hold the drum on during assembily.remove these and the drum should slide off. if not go to the back of the drum and at the lower part of the backing plate you will see a rubber gromet. pull it out and use a brake spoon to adjust the shoes enough to slide the drum off.
Remove the wheel and simply pull it towards you while turning the drum. If that doesn't work, hit it with a hammer to break it free, then pull it off.
you must pull the axles, remove the bearings and then the hub/brake drum assmbly. comes off as one unit.
You have to disassemble the wheel bearing, then the drum and hub pull off as an assembly.
Jut pull of drum if not 4 wd, make sure parking brake off and you may have to tap it a couple times.
The first step is to remove the tire. The rear brake drum will have what is known as a self-adjusting screw. This may need to be adjusted to pull the drum off, once you have the tire removed.
In that case you have to pull the wheel and then the brake drum to access the mechanism directly.
