Best Answer

U will either have a compressor powered by the engine that keeps the car level when you put weight on the rear or U can follow the air lines from the shock back to something that looks like air valve on your tires. Then use a regular air chuck to fill shocks to your own liking. The air valve could be anyplace on the car. I put mine in the back bumper next to the license plate.

Is it best to put air shocks or air gas shocks when you putting on 24 inch rims on a ford crown Victoria?

The problem with the 24" rims is they're heavy, if you put air shocks on your car it will and I assure you, you will have an unpleasant ride. But if you are going to put gas, it will compensate for the offset of the rims but make sure you will put the best gas shocks and not the cheap ones because it will wear out easily obviously because of the weight compensation and the off set
