wait till the engine is cool...then slowly take of radiator cap with a glove or towel, in case there is still pent up pressure. get a funnel and put either 50/50 or dilute ur own coolant in the radiator through funnel. add until u see the fluid just below top of cap. squeeze heater hose connected to radiator to "burb" ur radiator. this will cause some fluid to go into the heater hose and lower the fluid add more till it's just below cap again, keep repeating the "burping" phase till no more will go into hose, then add coolant till its just below cap, put lid back on and you have added coolant! :)
Antifreeze has to be put in at the overflow bottle.
i believe you can put the antifreeze anywhere in a jeep
Yes. Only use propelyn glycol (RV antifreeze) DO NOT use automotive antifreeze.
now 50%h20 and 50% antifreeze
You Put The Antifreeze In The Coolant Resivore.. These Escape Don't Have A Radiater Cap..... Hope This Helps
In the radiator.
All the time
Definitely not
Same place you put the water
Gm Dex Cool or equivalent. The red color antifreeze.
depends on what kind you buy , you can buy premixed (already has water added ) or just plane antifreeze ,then you need to mix it 50/50 with water
The thing you should never do is put 100% water. You can buy the 100 percent antifreeze(the green color kind) and just mix it yourself. You shouldn't put 100% antifreeze either, depending on where you live and the usual temperature you drive through. For a more colder area, you would put more antifreeze than water and hot places about 50/50 antifreeze/water.
