Once you put the car in "D" the brake will automatically release.
If the brake does not release there is an emergency release, which is a small lever attached at the top of the parking brake pedal. Pull it up and the brake should release.

To add to this Cadillac's have a manual release in case the auto fails. Most are at the top right of the emergency brake petal, there's a little lever that pulls forward. That should release it.
