there are to separate pieces to the dash and the councle that you have to take off first you have to take the shifter head off by removing a little pin in the back the part that faces the radio and then pull the shifter top off. then you will be able to remove the part around the radio but the bottom part has to be pulled up and around the shifter before you can pull the other part off but be carefull cuz theres wires conected to everything. then you can pull the part off around the radio but gentally pry it up with a screw driver or something flat then you can pull it off after that you will see screws that hold in the stock CD player remove those and you can pull the CD player out put once again be carefull cuz the wire harness will be conected still just un plug that and it will come right out. its not all worded the best but i hope it helps. i did mine a long time ago and it took forever to figure out.
